Cooking for Myself: A Prep Course for Teens

This is a course for teens who would like to fine-tune their kitchen skills as they become more independent. In this three-hour hands-on cooking class, teens will learn basic skills and fun food options to help them in the quest to feel more grown up & self-sufficient. Students will leave with greater appreciation for the world of food and a better grasp on meal planning, budget cooking and making use of what they already have in their fridge & pantry. As always, fun & creativity are encouraged. Menu: Mastering The Omelette Rotisserie Chicken 3 Ways - Cheesy Oven Chicken Nachos - Chicken Pot Pie - Warm Spinach & Chicken Pinwheel Puffs Dark Chocolate Trail Mix Energy Treats Mighty Bites (Protein Packed Grab & Go Bites- great for Snacks & Breakfast) Parents – all of our Kids Classes are drop-off. You are welcome to pick up your kids 15 minutes before the end of the class if you’d like to sample some food that’s been prepared! We do have Family Cooking Classes, for those of you that would like to take a class together.
