Songwriter Round: Brooks & Dunn Hit-Makers Bob DiPiero, Terry McBride, And Craig Wiseman

In support of the new exhibit Brooks & Dunn: Kings of Neon, all-star songwriters Bob DiPiero, Terry McBride, and Craig Wiseman will share their Brooks & Dunn hits and the stories behind the songs. DiPiero wrote the duo’s singles “Indian Summer” and “You Can’t Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl,” as well as chart-topping songs for artists such as Vince Gill and George Strait. McBride, former frontman of McBride & the Ride, wrote more than two dozen songs recorded by Brooks & Dunn, including their hit collaborations with Reba McEntire—“If You See Him/If You See Her” and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry”—and “Play Something Country.” Wiseman wrote the Brooks & Dunn songs “Believe,” “Hillbilly Deluxe,” and “That’s What It’s All About.” His credits also include the Tim McGraw smash “Live Like You Were Dying.” Ford Theater.
