Anthony Smith co-wrote the Top Ten hits “Chrome” and “I’m Tryin’” (Trace Adkins), “Cowboys Like Us” and “Run” (George Strait), and “What Do Ya Think About That” (Montgomery Gentry). Smith’s songs have also been recorded by Confederate Railroad, Randy Houser, Sammy Kershaw, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, and Trisha Yearwood. As a recording artist, Smith wrote and recorded the Top Forty country singles “Half a Man,” “If That Ain’t Country,” and “John J. Blanchard.” Presented by SunTrust. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Program ticket required.
