Jimmy Fortune joined the Statler Brothers in 1982 and played with the group for over twenty years. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Fortune wrote their songs “Elizabeth,” “Forever,” “More Than a Name on a Wall,” “My Only Love,” and “Too Much on My Heart.” He released his most recent solo album, God & Country, in 2019. Presented by SunTrust. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Program ticket required.
