The 45th Annual Heritage Ball
Eastern Flank Battlefield Park
Sat, Sep 15 6:00 pm

The Heritage Ball is the longest running black-tie affair in Williamson County. Each year, approximately 700 guests gather to support and celebrate the work of the Heritage Foundation in Williamson County and to raise funds for future projects. The first ball, which was held at Magnolia Hall, was a community effort. The Franklin Garden Club gathered, dried, and arranged the flowers. Marty Ligon, Eunetta Kready, Jane Rainey, Mary Frances Ligon and Catherine Brent assisted with planning and sending invitations. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Garrett, asked for donations of $50 per couple to be made to the Heritage Foundation. A lot has changed since that first ball on a cold February evening in 1972, however, what hasn’t changed is the community spirit required to put on this elegant event.  This year, our ball is a "tied-dyed ball," in honor of presenting sponsor Emily Magid. It's going to be a very classy, fashion-forward and fun event you won't want to miss. The 45th Annual Heritage Ball will be on September 15th at the Eastern Flank near Carnton, beginning at 6:00 pm with cocktails, continuing with dinner and dancing until midnight.
