The Vegabonds: The Alabama-born, Tennessee-bred alt-southern rock band - The Vegabonds - kick off 2019 with the release of their fifth album (and first for Blue Élan Records) entitled “V.” The band will support “V” with a full year of non-stop touring throughout North America and Europe. Produced by Tom Tapley (Blackberry Smoke, Sugarland, Mastodon), “V” audibly illustrates the band’s unconventional yet contagious brand of Southern rock and highlights the best of The Vegabonds’ unique musicianship, vocals, lyrics, and sound. Them Dirty Roses: Born and raised in the Bama clay, these boys are as southern as they come. Taught how to bend a string and break a heart by Skynyrd and Hank, brothers James and Frank Ford along with their hometown friends Andrew Davis and Ben Crain formed the southern rock band known as Them Dirty Roses. Piling into an RV with their guitars, a bottle of party liquor (in the cooler), and shotguns in tow, they made their way from Gadsden, AL to Nashville, TN. All living all under one roof, Them Dirty Roses are chasing the quintessential rock and roll American Dream. Their live show calls for a shot of whiskey and a 2 for 1 special -- BUT what that really means is you better be ready to throw back 12 for 6 and shake it with the Dirty Boys. Adam Wakefield: Adam Wakefield is a singer-songwriter who has secured his place in Nashville, TN, but is far from the typical artist one may expect to find in the Country Music Capital of the World. Growing up in New Hampshire, Adam didn’t intend to become an artist. In fact, his original goal was to become a musician. He began to play piano when he was younger and in search of a hobby, especially one at which he believed he could excel. Adam’s intuitions were correct, and he continued to play piano until it was time to make a musical choice and hone in on a certain genre as a pianist. Rather than choosing the predictable classical route, the man who has become celebrated for his uniqueness in his artistry opted for jazz.
