Wild & Scenic Film Festival presented by Harpeth Conservancy
The Franklin Theatre
Thu, Apr 25 7:00 pm

Wild and Scenic Film Festival is a call to action where film-goers are transformed into a congregation of committed activists, dedicated to saving our increasingly threatened planet. The event explores environmental issues through film and promotes community building, inspires stewardship and connects people with volunteerism locally. The goal of the festival is to reach more people and to increase community engagement to give middle Tennessee citizens a chance to make a change. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest film festival of its kind. Sit back and enjoy, while watching films that leave you feeling inspired and motivated to make a difference in your community and the world. These environmental and adventure films illustrate the Earth’s beauty, while also showing the challenges facing our planet and the communities working to protect it. This festival connects film with broader environmental and social context and reminds us that we are participants in a global movement for a more wild and scenic world. We will have door prizes and information on how to be good to your rivers and recreate safely on them over the summer!
