The Johnny Cash Museum, the Patsy Cline Museum and the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum captured top spots on USA Today’s highly competitive 10Best Music Museums in North America list.

Claiming the number one spot, the Patsy Cline Museum showcases the world’s largest collection of artifacts from Patsy Cline’s personal and professional life. Artifacts include awards, handwritten setlists, costumes created by Cline and her mother Hilda Hensley, and recreations of rooms inside Cline’s cherished home. Providing a rare and immersive experience into Cline’s life, the Patsy Cline Museum has been listed among the top attractions in Nashville by various outlets such as Billboard, Forbes, National Geographic and many more. The Patsy Cline Museum will celebrate its third anniversary on Saturday, April 4th featuring a special opportunity to meet and discuss the incredible legacy of Patsy Cline with her daughter Julie Fudge from 11 a to 3 p.

The Johnny Cash Museum takes the number three spot on the list, features the largest archive of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. The fully interactive exhibits chronicle Johnny’s life and provide a unique glimpse into his world, featuring artifacts including handwritten lyrics to “I Walk the Line” and “Folsom Prison Blues,” stage costumes, instruments, personal letters, artwork and more. Cash family members frequently appear at the museum for meet and greet. The Johnny Cash Museum most recently made national news when founder Bill Miller was presented by Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall with the archive of the “Deputy Sheriff Commission Card” originally presented to Johnny Cash on September 12, 1979. Featuring Johnny’s photo, fingerprint and signature, the deputy sheriff card was issued to Johnny by then Davidson County Sheriff Fate Thomas.

The Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum takes the fourth spot. This museum honors all musicians regardless of genre or instrument. The MHOF timeline starts with the beginning of recorded music and inductees are nominated by current members of the American Federation of Musicians and by other music industry professionals.
